This course focuses on the major historical developments, structural cosmology, symbolic interpretation, and values of the Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam.

Student Learning Outcomes

The student will identify the characteristics of sacred traditions.
The student will identify the characteristics of the Abrahamic religions.
The student will analyze and critique complex elements of the Abrahamic religious traditions including history, rituals, myth, symbols and texts.
The student will give examples of interrelationships between the Abrahamic religions and the impact of these interrelationships on the contemporary world.
The student will compare and contrast elements of the Abrahamic religions.
