Description
Continuation of SON 116B with emphasis on cardiac trauma, pulmonary vascular disease, diseases of the aorta and great vessels, transesophageal echocardiography, contrast echocardiography and intraoperative echocardiography.

Differentiate the sonographic appearances by explaining the clinical significance of pathological processes of specific pulmonary vascular diseases.

Identify the duplex Doppler and color Doppler appearances of cardiac trauma.
Explain the indications, utility, limitations and technical procedures for transesophageal echocardiography.
