Description
Focuses on fetal, neonatal and pediatric echocardiography including embryology and normal fetal and neonatal cardiac anatomy. Pediatric cardiac pathology, pathophysiology and hemodynamics in various disease processes will be discussed.

Discuss the embryologic development of the fetal heart.
Describe the segmental anatomy of the fetal and neonatal heart.
Describe the various congenital cardiac defects, sonographic appearance, prevalence and prognosis.
Discuss the clinical presentation of various pediatric cardiac diseases.
Explain the indications, utility, limitations, and technical procedures for pediatric echocardiography.
Correlate the duplex and color Doppler findings with the EKG tracings on a pediatric echocardiographic exam.
