TCA 289 - Introduction to Corporate Meetings and Events Credits: 3 Description Students will learn how to become successful corporate meeting planners. Students will be able to produce and market a variety of industry functions such as company events, new product/service launches, customer relations functions, and tools to evaluate an event performance.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Identify the role, scope, and responsibilities of a corporate meeting/event planner.
- Create learning tools to plan, organize, and evaluate a corporate meeting or event.
- Develop a marketing plan to include contemporary social media.
- Apply and practice good written and oral communications skills.
