Description
This comprehensive course covers the safety guidelines and proper use of scaffolds. A review in the proper use of swing stages, fork-lifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts will be conducted. OSHA standards and pertinent industry regulations will also be covered.

Student Learning Outcomes

Discuss the OSHA standards relevant to the topic found in CPR1926, as well as other pertinent industry standards.
Analyze and describe all safety standards relevant to scaffolds, swing stages, forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts.
Demonstrate familiarity with all types of scaffolds, swing stages, forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts commonly used in the construction industry.
Utilize proper knowledge, techniques and safety practices as related to the use of scaffolds, swing stages, forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts.
