Description
Students will identify and use hand and power tools, machining equipment and precision instruments at a fundamental level. Students will complete various bench layout tasks using shop drawings.

Student Learning Outcomes

Identify terms and label tools and machinery components.
Discuss the operating principles, methods and application for fundament bench skills.
Correctly select and change blades, discs and drill bits for tools and equipment.
Accurately layout and machine holes and slots to shop drawing specifications.
Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment and tool and equipment procedures.
