Description
The course covers sealed system components, defrost and electrical controls, mechanical servicing of domestic refrigerators, trouble-shooting, ice makers, window air conditioners and window air conditioning repair.

Student Learning Outcomes

Have a working knowledge of domestic refrigerators and freezers, domestic ice making equipment.
Utilize all the requirements of recovery/reclaiming recycling per EPA specifications.
Service and install small hermetic systems.
