Description
This course presents the basic layout and job planning needed to install a typical structure support system for concrete formwork. Related safety, math and print reading will also be covered.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Identify and define the nomenclature of a structural support system.
  2. Interpret prints to position falsework and determine dimensions.
  3. Calculate materials and create a cut list.
  4. Accurately layout falsework to project specifications.
