Description
This course provides instruction in the component assembly and construction for abutments used in the heavy highway industry.

Student Learning Outcomes

Identify and define the nomenclature of a structural support system.
Measure, cut and assemble formwork using proper installation techniques for abutments.
Correctly install and secure in place formwork and bracing.
Demonstrate safe use of tools and personal protective equipment.
