Description
This course provides an introduction to pipe layout and the safe and proper use of an Oxygen/Acetylene cutting torch. Students must come dressed in work clothes and safety boots

Student Learning Outcomes

Comprehend and utilize pipefitter terminology.
Employ safe work practices and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
Operate a oxy-acetylene cutting torch safely and effectively.
Complete the laying out of 45 and 90 degree turns along with laterals, reducers, offsets and wyes.
