SEA 121B - Advanced System Scaffold

Description
This course will cover the advanced techniques and procedures required when constructing system scaffolds used in industrial boiler installation or repair applications. Students will identify surface obstacles and unique shapes indicative of this application.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Describe surface obstacles and equipment contours in boiler applications.
- Create a list of the materials and hardware required for bridging voids and following equipment contours.
- Utilize proper procedures and installation techniques for boiler applications.
- Apply scaffold standards for load considerations in specific boiler configurations.
- Erect the selected simulated boiler scaffold to design specifications.
