VETN 160B - Introduction to Veterinary Clinical Practice Credits: 3 Description Introduce students to the practical skills necessary of a veterinary nurse in a clinical setting. Familiarize the student with common procedures in small animal, food animal, and equine veterinary clinics.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate entry-level knowledge of veterinary clinical practice.
- Identify breeds of the following species: canine, feline, equine, bovine, ovine, caprine, porcine.
- Explain the various disciplines in the field of veterinary medicine.
