PEX 218 - Introduction to Cheerleading Credits: 1 Description This course provides an introduction to competitive cheerleading at the collegiate level as a member of the coeducational CSN Spirit Squad, participating in leading cheers for intercollegiate sporting events as well as other appearances.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Describe safety measures necessary to perform all aspects of cheerleading.
- Describe game preparation and execution in various types of athletic events.
- Perform a variety of partner stunts, pyramids, dances, tumbling skills, and basket tosses.
- Choreograph individual and group cheering routines.
