Description
Focuses on local, regional, national and international fairs and festivals. You will learn how community festivals strengthen tourism and economic development and enrich our quality of life. This course provides a background in how to create and manage a fair/festival.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Identify categories of festivals such as mega festivals, hallmark festivals, art, music, film, pop culture, technology fairs/festivals and more.
  2. Define major components of fairs and festivals.
  3. Create an original fair/festival experience.
  4. Defend the inclusion of diversity and multi-national stakeholders to fairs and festivals..
