DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares students for employment in fields related primarily to database design, database application development, and database administration.  In addition to technical content, the degree includes skills in communication (oral, written, and listening), project management, databases, teamwork, and problem solving.

Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Design database applications.
  2. Create database applications.
  3. Facilitate the installation and configuration of database applications.
  4. Maintain database applications.

General Education Requirements


TOTAL GENERAL EDUCATION CREDITS: 22


300-level and above courses cannot be used to satisfy GE requirements.

Grades of D+, D, and D- in the major requirements (occupational) area in an Associate of Applied Science degree program will not count toward graduation requirements.
