Map: CSN BS Dental Hygiene: Education Specialist (Associates Completed)


WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who have been accepted into the Dental Hygiene: Education Specialist, BS   and have completed an associates degree.
 
 
HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map only covers the courses that remain to complete the BS, totals 32 credits, and assumes no transferred coursework.  It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in three (3) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree and graduate.  Click on a course to see more information about that course including description, prerequisites and credit value.
 
STUDENT NOTE:  
  • A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required to graduate.
  • Prior to Semester #1 students should apply to the Dental Hygiene: Education Specialist program and receive approval from the program director to enter the program. 
  • Lower Division Requirements: 89 Credits. AA or AAS CODA accredited Dental Hygiene Program and Lower Division General Education Credits Awarded (30 credits).   Additional Credits- May be Dental Hygiene course credits (55 credits).  U.S. and NV Constitution - PSC 101 (4 credits).
