DESCRIPTION

This degree prepares students for employment in fields related primarily to computer programming.  In addition to technical content, the degree includes skills in communication (oral, written, and listening), project management, databases, web site development, teamwork, and problem solving.

General Education Requirements (22 Credits)

NOTE: Your first college-level ENG course MUST be completed before reaching 30 total college-level credits.

Beginning Programming Languages (6 Credits)


Cannot use both CIT 133 and CS 135 toward the completion of this section.  If a student completes both courses, one will count in this section and the other will count toward the Electives section credits.

Advanced Programming Languages (6 Credits)


Cannot use both CIT 233 and CS 202 toward the completion of this section.  If a student completes both courses, one will count in this section and the other will count toward the Electives section credits.

Electives (6 Credits)


CIT 137B may be repeated by students who wish to explore up to three different languages for a maximum of 9 credits. Three of the 9 credits count in the Beginning Programming Languages with the other 6 credits counting in the Electives portion of the degree.
