RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM
Students MUST be indentured in the Floor Coverers Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Floor Coverers Associate of Applied Science Degree if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares students for employment as a Journeyman Floor Coverer with the Floor Coverers Union. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing related math, science, and human relations components are stressed to prepare students to meet the challenges common in the work place.
 

Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Comprehend and utilize all applicable floor covering tools.
  2. Comprehend and utilize formulas used in the calculations of all phases of floor covering work.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair any problems that arise with floor covering Installations.

General Education Requirements (33 Credits)

NOTE: Your first college-level MATH course MUST be completed before reaching 30 total college-level credits.
