DESCRIPTION
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be prepared for an entry-level position in the networking/electronics industry. Students will acquire the necessary skills required by the high-tech, high-wage networking/electronics industry for entry-level positions. This program integrates classroom experience with hands-on lab exercises. Computers and networks used to support modern networking/electronics are also covered.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Construct, test, and verify the operation of various analog and digital circuits using basic electronics/networking test equipment.
- Explain the signaling and system structure of the various types of networks, such as the cell phone, LANs, and Wide Area Networks.
- Analyze operation of basic analog electronic circuits and digital circuits that would be key parts of an interface for sensors and device control circuits over networks.
- Solve problems with simple networks and connected devices such as PCs, routers and switches networking devices such as routers.
