CSN Associate of Science in Biological Science Map for Transfer to Utah Tech BS Biology - Biological Science Emphasis Major

AREA OF STUDY (AOS): Biological & Physical Sciences
JOB/EMPLOYMENT INFO: www.csn.edu/sciencearea

WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Associate of Science in Biological Science at CSN AND PLAN TO TRANSFER TO UTAH TECH to complete a BS in Biology - Biological Science Emphasis Major upon graduating from CSN.

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters.  Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.

CSN ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE DESCRIPTION
An Academic Map suggests a schedule of courses based on degree requirements in the CSN catalog and serves as a general guideline to both help build a full schedule each semester and complete an Associate’s degree in two years or a Bachelor’s degree in four years. Some academic maps will serve as a guide for transfer offering both completion at CSN (first two years) and completion at another NSHE institution (second two years).
Students should regularly meet with their academic advisor to confirm their official degree plans, to determine how the academic map will best fit your needs, and to ensure applicable course selection and sequencing. These maps are not a substitute for academic advisement - contact your advisor if you have any questions about scheduling or about your degree requirements.
