WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP

This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Latinx and Latin American Studies, AA at CSN and plan to transfer to UNLV to complete a BA Latinx and Latin American Studies Major upon graduating from CSN.

Students should visit the UNLV/CSN Transfer Office for transfer course grade and GPA requirements.

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP

The academic map totals a minimum of 60 credits and assumes no transferred coursework. It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer. PLEASE NOTE

One credit of HIST 101 and one credit of HIST 102 may be applied to your overall major requirement elective credits. In this case, completing SPAN 211 and SPAN 212 for the major requirement elective credits and applying the single credit from HIST 101 and the single credit from HIST 102 will satsify the eight (8) credit requirement for the major requirement elective credits.
