Map for Transfer: CSN AA Creative Writing to Utah Tech BS English-Creative Writing, Literary Studies or Professional and Technical Writing Major


WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Creative Writing, AA  at CSN and plan to transfer to Utah Tech University to complete a BS English-Creative Writing, Literary Studies or Professional and Technical Writing Major upon graduating from CSN. 
 
Students should visit the Utah Tech University Transfer Students web page for transfer course grade and GPA requirements.
 
HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map totals a minimum of 60 credits and assumes no transferred coursework.  It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. The map also includes a breakdown of the recommended courses semester-by-semester at Utah Tech University upon transfer.  Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.  Click on a course to see more information about that course including description, prerequisites and credit value.

  • English Core Elective (Major Requirements) - Credits 3: See a counselor or advisor to choose either ENG 243  or ENG 261  or ENG 275 .  Cannot take the same course used for this elective in semester three.
