DESCRIPTION
This program provides students with the skills to plan, prepare, interpret technical drafting documents, and create additive manufacturing prototype models. Students develop these skills through computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) workstations and 3D printers. Instruction also includes office standards, ethics, equipment maintenance, and production techniques.

COMPUTATION & HUMAN RELATIONS COMPONENTS
  • Computation: MATH 104B or above (except MATH 115 and MATH 122 and MATH 123)
  • Human Relations: CADD 250

Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Create Two-Dimensional drawings and Three-Dimensional solid models using the CAD software that will apply to the students discipline to a degree of 80%.
  2. Apply office standards, techniques and procedures in the workplace to a degree of 80%.
  3. Design projects specific discipline of study and create documents and/or solid models to a degree of 70% in Capstone class.
  4. Demonstrate mathematics, communications skills, and other core degree requirements.
