Map for Transfer: CSN AS Associate of Science Map to NSU BS Mathematics Major

WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Associate of Science, AS  at CSN and plan to transfer to NSU to complete a BS Mathematics Major upon graduating from CSN.

Students should visit the NSU/CSN Transfer Office for transfer course grade and GPA requirements.

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map totals 60 credits and assume no transferred course work. It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters.  Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.  Click on a course to see more information about that course including description, prerequisites and credit value.

STUDENT NOTE: NSU requires completion of MATH 181 which is 4 credits, but the minimum needed for GE Mathematics on the CSN AS Associate of Science is 3 credits.  The additional credit of MATH 181 may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Core Requirements area.
