About this Academic Map
- This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Associate of Science, AS at CSN and plan to transfer to NSU to complete a BS Interdisciplinary Studies Major upon graduating from CSN.
- This 60-credit map, designed for students without transfer credits, represents the optimal pathway to completing this degree.
- Please note: NSU requires completion of MATH 181 which is 4 credits, but the minimum needed for GE Mathematics on the CSN AS Associate of Science is 3 credits. The additional credit of MATH 181 may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Core Requirements area.

CSN First Semester - Mathematics (General Education) - Credits 4: MATH 181 - Calculus I
- English Composition (General Education) - Credits 3-5: Options Include: ENG 100 or ENG 101 or ENG 110 or ENG 113
- Humanities (General Education) - Credits 3: COM 101 - Public Speaking
- Fine Arts (General Education) - Credits 3: Select a course option from the GE Fine Arts list on the AS Associate of Science degree sheet.
- Social Science (General Education) - Credits 3: Select a course option from the GE Social Science list on the AS Associate of Science degree sheet.
