WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Physical Sciences, AS at CSN and plan to transfer to NSU to complete a BS Environmental and Resource Science Major upon graduating from CSN.
HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map totals 60 credits and assumes no transferred coursework. It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer. CSN Semester #1 - Recommended Courses
- Total Minimum Credits: 17
- NSU requires completion of BIOL 190 and ENV 101.
- Student MUST MEET with an advisor or counselor BEFORE REGISTERING for their NEXT SEMESTER.
CSN Semester #2 - Recommended Courses
- Total Minimum Credits: 14
- NSU requires completion of BIOL 191 and CHEM 121.
- Student MUST MEET with an advisor or counselor BEFORE REGISTERING for their NEXT SEMESTER.
CSN Semester #3 - Recommended Courses
- Total Minimum Credits: 15
- NSU requires completion of PSC 101 and CHEM 122 and PHYS 151.
- NSU requires completion of either BIOL 220 or ENV 220.
- Student MUST MEET with an advisor or counselor BEFORE REGISTERING for their NEXT SEMESTER.
CSN Semester #4 - Recommended Courses
- Total Minimum Credits: 14
- NSU requires completion of CHEM 241 and GEOL 101.
