Map for Transfer: CSN AS Associate of Science to UNR BS Geology Major

About this Academic Map

This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Associate of Science, AS at CSN and plan to transfer to UNR to complete a BS Geology Major upon graduating from CSN.
This 60-credit map, designed for students without transfer credits, represents the optimal pathway to completing this degree.
Please note the following:
- UNR requires completion of MATH 181 which is 4 credits, but the minimum needed for GE Mathematics on the CSN AS Associate of Science is 3 credits. The additional credit of MATH 181 may count toward completion of the Major Requirements Electives area.
- UNR requires completion of 8 credits of Natural Science General Education credits while the CSN AS Associate of Science only requires completion of 7 Natural Science credits. The additional credit of Natural Science completed may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Electives area.
- UNR requires completion of a total of 19 Core Requirements credits, but the minimum Core Requirements needed on the CSN AS Associate of Science is 18 credits. The additional credit completed may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Electives area.
