About this Academic Map

This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Associate of Science, AS at CSN and plan to transfer to UNLV to complete a BS Health Physics Major upon graduating from CSN.
This 60-credit map, designed for students without transfer credits, represents the optimal pathway to completing this degree.
- Please note: UNLV requires completion of MATH 181 which is 4 credits, but the minimum needed for GE Mathematics on the CSN AS Associate of Science is 3 credits. The additional credit of MATH 181 may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Electives area.
- Please note: UNLV requires completion of 8 credits of Natural Science General Education credits while the CSN AS Associate of Science only requires completion of 7 Natural Science credits. The additional credit of Natural Science completed may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Electives area.
- Please note: UNLV requires the completion of a total of 20 Core Requirements credits, but the minimum Core Requirements needed on the CSN AS Associate of Science is 18 credits. The additional 2 credits completed may count toward completion of the Major Requirement Electives area.
