Map for Transfer: CSN AA Associate of Arts to UNLV BS Architecture Major


About this Academic Map
  • This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Associate of Arts, AA  at CSN and plan to transfer to UNLV to complete a BS Architecture Major upon graduating from CSN.
  • This 60-credit map, designed for students without transfer credits, represents the optimal pathway to completing this degree.
    • Please note: UNLV requires completion of seven (7) credits of Natural Science, but the minimum needed for GE Natural Science on the CSN AA Associate of Arts is 6 credits.  The additional credit of Natural Science may count toward completion of the Major Requirements Electives area.

  • English Composition (General Education) - Credits 3-5: Options Include: ENG 100  or ENG 101  or ENG 110  or ENG 113

  • Social Science Electives (Major Requirements) - Credits 6: Select two courses from the Social Science Electives list on the AA Associate of Arts degree sheet.

  • Completing ENG 231 or ENG 232 also satisfies CSN’s Values and Diversity requirement.
